چکیده
Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is a clinical syndrome ensuing infection-induced inflammation of the upper reproductive tract in females. It mostly characterized by chronic pelvic pain and can lead to severe outcomes like tubal-factor infertility or ectopic pregnancy. The treatment primarily focuses on eradication infection control consequences. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are most commonly used for inflammation, but their use limited adverse effects, especially when long-term. Systemic Enzyme Therapy (SET) using combination Trypsin-Bromelain-Rutoside have long history various conditions, including PID. an effective alternative conventional therapies managing symptoms preventing complications SET moderates response, prevent scar formation adhesions. mechanisms which acts relevant pathophysiology PID been presented this review. Results from studies also discussed, comparative against placebo agents, given concomitantly with antibiotics versus alone variety acute PID-related conditions.

SUMMARY During 2 years, 212 patients with PID and 160 women with no sign of PIO (as control group) were selected for the detection of aerobic an<l anaerobic bacteria and possible cause of the disease. Specimens from 58 patients and 60 controls were taken by laparoscopy and laparotomy, 154 patients and 100 controls by swabs from endocervical canal. From laparoscopy and laparotomy group(58) 9 ...

Intra-tubal adhesions and pelvic adhesive disease are the long-term sequelae of PID which may lead to both sub-fertility and tubal ectopic pregnancy. Laparoscopy is the definitive diagnostic modality, but ...
